After your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to rest. If time allows, explore Dar es Salaam’s bustling spice markets or take in some local culture at museums, or simply relax at the hotel and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. Rest up for the exciting safari that awaits you tomorrow.
Explore Untouched Wilderness and Unique Wildlife

• Transfer to Usangu Expedition Camp
• Overnight in Usangu Expedition Camp
After a restful night, enjoy a hearty breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your flight to Ruaha National Park. The aerial views of this untamed region will be a sight to behold. Upon landing, your guide will be ready to welcome you and take you on a game drive to Usangu Expedition Camp.
Situated in the park’s remote wetland, the camp offers an immersive experience in a truly unexplored region. Usangu Expedition Camp, with just six spacious tents, guarantees an intimate stay. Each day unfolds with exciting game drives where you’ll witness large herds of sable and roan antelope, elephants along the riverbank during boat safaris, and walk through the wide-open grasslands. Experience the thrill of sleeping under the stars in a Star Cube, where the African night sky offers unforgettable views. At night, you’ll enjoy unique thermal camera drives to spot elusive predators.
Kokoko Camp – Your Private Safari Retreat

After breakfast, bid farewell to Usangu and begin your journey north through Ruaha. Known for its diverse predator population, Ruaha is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and wild dogs, as well as numerous other species.
Your next destination, Kokoko Camp, offers an exceptional and private experience. Located along the Mwagusi riverbed, this intimate camp hosts up to six guests, providing a highly personalized safari adventure. Here, you’ll enjoy walking safaris, thrilling game drives, and stunning sundowners followed by evening drives to discover nocturnal wildlife. Evenings at Kokoko are magical, with dinners prepared on-site in the riverbed under the glow of lanterns and the symphony of nature. Each of the three tents features a custom-designed retractable roof for stargazing at night, ensuring you are immersed in the wilderness from every angle.
Water Safari and Tranquil Landscapes

Upon arrival in Nyerere National Park, your guide will be ready to transfer you to Roho ya Selous. Nestled on a picturesque peninsula overlooking Lake Nzerakera, this camp offers a peaceful, comfortable stay in the heart of one of Africa’s largest reserves.
Here, you’ll enjoy an array of activities such as boat safaris to see hippos and crocodiles up close, and relaxing afternoons by the pool while observing the surrounding wildlife. In the evening, gather around the campfire with fellow travelers to share stories of your day. Roho ya Selous provides a perfect blend of adventure and comfort, with spacious canvas tents, each featuring modern amenities like en suite bathrooms and outdoor showers, designed to keep you comfortable while you connect with nature.
Farewell to the Wild

On your last morning, enjoy a final breakfast at camp before bidding farewell to the wilderness. You’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Dar es Salaam, taking with you memories of an unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
