Honeymoon Safari
Spent 7 days on safari as part of our Honeymoon, and could not recommend highly enough. Qamara made the trip even more special, and it would not have been the same without him. His knowledge, genuine interest and expertise took the entire trip to the next level. All food and accommodation were top quality and of the highest standards. We really enjoyed our safari trip in Tanzania. We have seen all the animals on our list including lion cubs, cheeta cubs playing, a leopard in a tree and lot’s of other animals. Qamara is a knowledgable and friendly guide with respect for the animals. He learned us a lot about photography, camera settings and photo editing. We had a truly wonderfull experience. A life changing adventure with Sauti Africa Safaris
Sauti Africa Safaris is a one of a kind company committed to being the voice(Sauti) of Tanzania’s wildlife, its people and the land. My husband and I went on a 10 day animal and cultural safari with them and were blown away by their passion, expertise and devotion to ensuring that our trip was exceptional. We worked closely with their staff to create an itinerary, exclusive to our interests and desires. They made sure every aspect of our trip was executed with precision and genuine care. BEST FAMILY TRIP EVER!
Our family of 6 just returned from an unforgettable safari in Tanzania planned by Sauti Africa, and it was by far the best of the 3 safaris we have done. We stayed at Namiri Plains and Olakira Camp by Asilia Africa, and both camps were exceptional — luxurious tents, amazing food, and incredibly warm staff. A huge thank you to Qamara, our guide and an award-winning wildlife photographer, who tailored the entire trip perfectly to our family’s interests. We specifically wanted to witness prey-predator interaction, and thanks to his patience and deep understanding of wildlife behavior, we not only saw one cheetah kill, but TWO. Other guests in the same lodge missed these sightings, which really showed the extra effort Qamara put in for us. His wildlife photography coaching was outstanding. Under his guidance, we captured beautiful storytelling images, and many friends later commented that our photos looked “National Geographic standard”! What also made this trip different was how efficiently everything was planned. Qamara arranged packed bush lunches daily so we could maximize our game drive time instead of returning to the lodge midday. This gave us far more opportunities for incredible sightings, including elephant mating behavior, male cheetahs chasing a female in heat, and an unforgettable lion pride of 15 — 5 lionesses and 10 cubs — practicing hunting techniques on the rocks at sunset. We were also lucky to have Innocent as our resident guide in Namiri Plains. He was incredibly knowledgeable and knew the big cats and their movements inside out. To top it all off, after the trip Qamara surprised us with a beautifully compiled collection of photos he had taken during the safari. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gift. Everything about this safari felt personal, thoughtful, and expertly planned. We are so grateful to have found Sauti Africa and will definitely use them again for our next safari adventure. Best Safari Experience
ONCE IN A LIFETIME! The whole experience was amazing, I planned this trip very last minute and Qamara was very detail oriented and extremely helpful in curating the trip and overall experience. I spent 6 days in safari exploring from Tarangire to ngorongoro to central and ultimately witnessing the wildebeest migration in the northern Serengeti. It was truly an amazing experience, our guide and driver Simel, explained everything to us, from the history of Tanzania and the various tribes (masaii, meru, chaga, etc) all the way to the animals and their history. The man was a textbook with an amazing personality, teaching me Swahili along the way. I was also flying to Zanzibar post safari and they organized for me to receive my luggage post safari at the airport and overall was just such a seamless process, can’t recommend them enough. To quote a dear friend and travel companion..Each day we had a “Best Day Ever” experience and sometime many in one day!
Getting to experience a Safari in Tanzania would be pretty amazing -but getting to experience a Safari in Tanzania with wildlife expert, photographer and amazing human Qamara was a trip of a lifetime! From pick-up to drop-off, every minute of our time with Qamara (co-founder/owner of Sauti Africa Safaris) is something we will always remember with fondness, amazement and great appreciation. His friendly and humourous nature helped us to be comfortable in his company immediately and the friendships grew from there. Our enjoyment, safety and comfort were always top of mind for him. Always endeavouring to provide us the best possible experience- he was punctual, flexible and accommodating. No small detail was overlooked..from the timing of the game drives for the best animal sightings, his scheduling for optimal accommodation departures and arrivals to beat the crowds, organizing spectacular bush breakfasts when needed so we didn’t miss anything in the area(s) we were visiting, to making sure we could enjoy some rest and relaxation at our top notch accommodations. He was able to provide us with phenomenal animals sightings using his expertise in tracking and his knowledge of the parks. (Although he did mention he made sure the “animals got an email that we were coming so they knew it was time to offer up the most spectacular photo opportunities”!) Quamara shared with us numerous times the importance of Sustainable Tourism and Conservation and demonstrated his dedication and commitment to such with his actions-always being very respectful of the environment and the wild animals. In addition to being a very experienced and knowledgeable guide/wildlife expert/driver, Qamara is a humble and talented award winning photographer. He has so much expertise in photographing the animals in their environment and was eager to help us get the best shot (best lighting, best location, best background, best range) to commemorate our African Adventure. A picture is worth a thousand words. And we have thousands of pictures to prove it! What made this trip so spectacular was how comfortable and welcome we were made to feel throughout and how passionately Qamara shared his first-hand knowledge of the area-it’s history, the culture and the traditions, as well as his vast repertoire of animal facts and anecdotes. Loved the anecdotes! To quote a dear friend and travel companion..Each day we had on our Tanzania Safari with Qamara was a “Best Day Ever” experience and sometime many in one day!!! Friendly tip: if you have the opportunity (privilege) to experience your Safari with this amazing guide and company… watch out for “ Hat o’clock” that’s when your guide- now friend -puts on his safari hat and grabs the binoculars-that’s when you know you are in for another experience of a lifetime. It's the little things...
The attention to detail and the customization of our trip is what made our trip... OUR trip! Qamara was our guide extraordinaire! He was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, the places, and the people. He knew when and where to find the animals, beat the crowds, and how to get the perfect shot - what an amazing plus to actually have a fabulous guide who is also a fabulous photographer. But, what really set this safari apart (and this was my 3rd one!) was the little extras... the stories, the background, the factoids... and the wonderful sense of humour that gave colour to the whole experience and sent us home knowing we had a new friend in this amazing part of the world. Wholeheartedly Recommend Sauti Africa
In September, my wife and I embarked on a guided safari tour in Tanzania. During our journey, we explored Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Parks. Our tour guide, Mr. Emanuel Qamara, was exceptional. Over the past 20 years, we have participated in many guided tours to different countries, and Qamara is by far the best guide we have ever met. His professionalism and deep knowledge of the parks’ ecosystems—including wildlife, diverse plant species, and unique geological features—set him apart. The quality of a safari experience depends largely on the expertise and dedication of the guide. On the vast grassy plains, where animals skillfully camouflage themselves among shrubs, treetops, and rock formations, a knowledgeable guide makes all the difference in what visitors can observe and experience. Qamara’s intimate understanding of the environment ensured we didn’t miss a thing. Whenever an animal sighting was reported over the radio, he always identified the quickest route to the location, while other vehicles were seen heading in the wrong direction. Thanks to Qamara’s efforts, we had an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania. I wholeheartedly recommend the Sauti Africa Tour with Mr. Emanuel Qamara to anyone planning to visit this incredible destination.
