Itinerary Details

Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha

After arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your lodge. Check in, enjoy a welcome briefing, and relax after your journey.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for giant baobabs and large elephant herds. Chose to relax and enjoy lodge amenities or head out for an Afternoon game drive across rolling savannahs and river valleys.

Accommodation: Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner (Full Board)

Day 3 – Full Day Tarangire

Breakfast at the lodge, then a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire is renowned for migratory herds, predators, and birdlife. Return in the evening for dinner.

Day 4 – Mto wa Mbu Cultural Experience & Karatu

After breakfast, drive toward Karatu town. Stop at Mto wa Mbu for a guided village walk, market visit, and traditional cooking experience. Continue to Karatu for overnight.

Day 5 – Journey to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast, then drive through Ngorongoro Highlands into Serengeti. En route, enjoy scenic views and wildlife sightings. Afternoon game drive across the endless plains to catch that sunset against the savannah and evening behavior for wildlife.

Day 6 – Full Day Game drive Serengeti National Park

Early breakfast, then a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Serengeti is world-famous for predators, plains game, and dramatic skies. Return for dinner at the lodge.

Day 7 – Serengeti to Karatu

Breakfast, then return via Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Karatu town. Enjoy views of volcanic highlands and community landscapes.

Day 8 – Hadzabe & Datoga Cultural Experience

Breakfast, then drive to Lake Eyasi. Meet Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and Datoga pastoralists, learning about traditional lifestyles and ancient customs. Return to Karatu town for a rest.

Day 9 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Famous for dense predator populations and diverse habitats. Return to lodge in the evening.

Day 10 – Departure

Breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Day room at Kibo Palace Hotel for guests with late night flights before transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Zanzibar extension.
