Day 1 — Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda! Start your luxury primate adventure in the charming lakeside town of Entebbe, where lush tropical gardens meet the serene waters of Lake Victoria. Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly met by your guide and enjoy a brief fifteen-minute transfer to your boutique lodge. Check in, settle into your comfortable room, and unwind amidst the peaceful garden surrounding as you rest up for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2 — Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Journey into the heart of Africa as you travel toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, an ancient, mist-covered rainforest that harbors more than half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. After a fresh breakfast, check out and transfer back to the airport for your scenic one-and-a-half-hour domestic flight over Uganda’s rolling green hills.

Upon landing at the bush airstrip, your private guide will be waiting to transfer you directly up into the breathtaking mountain landscapes. Check in at your lodge, where you will enjoy a hot lunch, a relaxed afternoon preparing your gear, and a fine dinner under the stars.

Day 4 — Forest Walks & Community Experience

Day 5 — Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transition from dense rainforests to classic African savannahs as you travel toward Queen Elizabeth National Park, a diverse wilderness famous for its crater lakes and tree-climbing lions Enjoy an early breakfast, check out of your lodge, and embark on a scenic four-to-five-hour road transfer through changing rural landscapes Arrive at the park in the afternoon and check in at your premium accommodation, take in the sweeping savannah views, and gather at the lodge restaurant for a delicious dinner

Day 6 — Chimpanzee Trekking & Boat Safari

Day 7 — Return to Entebbe

Day 8 — Departure

Savor your final morning in East Africa as your luxury primate and savannah journey comes to a seamless close.
